Each week im writing myself a timetable of what i need to do and when to make sure i stay on track to completition before the EV comes.. suprisingly i did most of it last week and this week will be no exception!
So im going with the whole living doll theme of kids mag for adults and for my cover im thinking i take a headshot from my 'Pinocchio' shoot and use it on my cover but with my paper doll?
So it'd be laid out like an average magazine with the models face looking like a doll but the body would be my paper dolls instead im thinking something like this?
ALSO i've just found out i can get my magazine binded for some measly price at college all i gottas do is find somewhere that prints onto art paper! Go Me!
Idea: as dolls are given to children but not always meant for children..(Reborndolls/Chucky) Mag: 'Childrens' magazine but very explicitly for adults, i.e Cindy Sherman
Inside: Paper Doll Cut Out? Games? Photography? Adverts? DollHouse? ComicStrip?
To Do: Look at Childrens Magzines & Other magazine layouts, i.e Vice Magzine(themed)
V&A Childhood Museum is a long way to go just to look at sometatty dolls especially in my finacial state. where else can i visit? Might just pop into Entertainer & Disney store and do some hot sketches lol..
Weirdo old moms n barron women have like life reborn dolls to pass the time. 'Designer dolls' are sometimes made for parents dealing with the loss of a child to help them grieve?
I'm thinking with Perry, to stick to my idea of the living doll and bringing the doll to life. Why is there an obsession of making dolls look so realistic? Why do we have dolls? Why are dolls given to children?
